The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea adopts Parrimark's Events Perfect event management software
Granted its Royal Borough status in 1901, in recognition both of Queen Victoria's love of the area, and its long association with royalty, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea is an area full of history, yet bustling and up to date.
Kensington Town Hall and Chelsea Old Town Hall are within easy access of a variety of hotels and amenities, making both venues ideal destinations for the event organiser.
Located on the famous King's Road, Chelsea "Old" Town Hall offers a classic example of late Victorian design and elegance. It provides an ideal setting for VIP banquets, in addition to its famous quality fairs. Adjacent to the world famous Chelsea register office, it also provides an ideal setting for wedding receptions. The facilities are flexible to accommodate a wide variety of uses, with a capacity of up to 440 in the Main Hall and 150 theatre style in the Small Hall.
Kensington Town Hall also offers a variety of event opportunities. Its Great and Small Halls, as well as the Council Chamber and eight meeting rooms are all available for events. As one of the largest venues in Central London, Kensington Town Hall can be efficiently configured to accommodate a wide range of individual requirements. In order to deliver this promise of quality service for all of the Royal Borough's events, a more up to date computer system was clearly required. This created the opportunity to adopt Parrimark's Events Perfect venue and event management system. With such a wide variety of events on offer, a clear financial picture was needed to assess the viability of the different types of event.
The installation at the Royal Borough pioneered the automatic integration of Events Perfect with Outlook. A template containing all of the customer requirements is held on the Exchange Server enabling internal customer requirements to be communicated to the booking team. An automated process then converts all the information received from Outlook into Events Perfect. Events Perfect is also perfectly placed to manage the complex financial information arising from such a diverse range of events, with an interface to their financial programme.
